Why oh why weren't the episodes released in correct order on the DVD box set? Luckily, all the ending episodes seem to be unaffected and the show is rather simple/episodic at time, so skipping around wasn't too bad, just hugely annoying. |

Whoo! Wackiness! Honestly, it kinda starts making sense around episode 5, but it really helps if you just watch it a second time. Then you pick up all sorts of "OH, that's what that meant" moments. |

It's a masterpiece of the shonen genre. The characterization between everyone, especially the Elric brothers is just great. I haven't really seen anything quite like it before. Also, the alchemy is just a different concept and looks so cool. |

It is different from the manga, which I wasn't expecting after the first half, so I was mildly confused about things until something in my head kicked over that 'duh, anime differs from manga often'. |

After reading several reviews and discovering a box set, I decided this sounded interesting. At the least, it seemed as if it could become a guilty pleasure. While I am pleased and I liked the content, I was expecting it to have a lot more fanservice. I'm disappointed. I wanted a fanservice filled guilty pleasure and I'm not feeling the guilt! |

Yes, I saw the movie. I even liked the movie. I'm not sure what all the fuss was about. It's just like Yugioh, only better because they cram a whole storyline into 90 minutes instead of a huge long arc with a zillion card battles. |
