ok this is only my first few days on this site, and i still haven't figured out how to find people in my area, besides just searching every forum, but there has to be another way, if there is please let me know thanks.

These forums are more geared towards discussions or announcements. If you're "looking for people" for socializing or whatever, then I suggest you try something else.
