I like how NIS keeps pumping out Disgaea games, but I'm not sure if I agree with their DLC pricing.
C'mon, having the total cost for DLC exceed the price for the game on released date is ridiculous. For all of Disgaea 4's DLC, it is still $102.63 for NA.
I've been waiting since release date for the all-in-one dlc for $50 for Disgaea 4 like they did with Disgaea 3. In the later case, I spent more than $70 for the DLC and then had to practically beg for the code from NISA to get the all-in-one pack since I bought every DLC prior and wanted to battle Baal.
Aside from the DLC, I'm fairly satisfied with the games and I keep buying and playing them. So, their doing something right.

Can't wait to play it! Hope it's just as fun as the original. Always glad to see Etna, Flonne and Laharl back in the spotlight.

At OP, just wait. They always release a version with all the DLC, they just never call it game of the year edition. The Vita version of Disgaea 3 has all the dlc including the Rasberyl content, the psp version of Disgaea 2 has bonus content etc. So at some point they will rerelease 4 with the dlc content you just have to patient.
Besides, DLC is always ridiculous like that, if you bothered getting every dlc for most games it would be at least another 50-60 dollars on top of the original game, some games do come out in GOTY as mentioned above, but some don't and that is simply the nature of DLC.
Though it looks like pre orders on D2 are going a lot faster than Time and Eternity, and could be sold out in a few weeks, so those interested should not dwadle on the CE.
