Check local listings for exact time.
6:30 EASTERN/PACIFIC according to Commerical. Hopefully will remain most of the way intact.
[EDIT By C; it's March, not May, although it feels like it, in central PA...]
oops thanks for fixing that must have hit 5 on accident.

Yeah? The only thing I fear is the English dub closing theme.

Why?! 8O |
Yeah, and besides, it'll probably only run for 15-30 seconds anyway, as they need that extra minute for advertisers. ;P

I can't wait to watch Kenshin. It looks pretty good, from the previews they have been showing. (Plus all the things of read up on it.)
But, what is all this bad dubing all about? Let me explain..... yes, I know what the word dub means (I'm not that ignorant.) Yes, I respect your opinion. It's just that it would be more helpful if those who don't like the dub whould explain why in more detail.
Kind of like how Case explained how he thought the dubing was o.k.
Thanks

and, suprisingly, they used the japanese ending theme anyway. ;P

I must ESP, kind of. Opening as the ending, ending used the opening. Hello confustion. Oh well, Tech TV's Betterman has been using the ending theme as the opening, so no true shock there, but well Kenshin fan will be rabidness about this? I think not. Any hoot, I don't really like the English verison of the theme, as much as I like Japanese verison.

Woo hoo!!! I watched it today, I like the story, but I must say that the Japanese voices go better, at least from to two episodes I've seen before, which were situated smack dab in the middle of the series, but anyway, I love the innocent mannerisms Kenshin has. ^.^ Kenshin wa kawaii desu!!
I didn't see the end or begining songs though, I was watching more FY and ran to the other room as soon as my mother told me it tuned on.
So what do you guys think of Cartoon Networks little addition?

well as far as the dub goes its decent its not something id rave about but its not awfull either it gets the job down. And as far as the editing seems to have made in intact but we will have to wait till later on ie Shishio saga to see how they handle it.

The next DBZ, in the way of another super popular series that pull people in to Toonami on a Monday thought Friday bases. Well, I said the same about .hack//sign and CN killing it.

Has anybody posted am edit list yet? I've seen the series through and my friend owns the DVDs, but it'd be handy to compare.

Well I watched the first episode today and to tell you the truth it wasn't cut too bad. What little blood that is in episode one is still there but it doesn't quert out or spray out as it usually does, instead its like just a red line where for example when Kaoru gets cut on her arm. But still, it wasn't too bad on cartoon network.[/b]

Case's Editing List:
1) Blood spray turned white when false Battousai kills the policemen, scene possibly shorted also [I'd have to go back and time it to be sure, but it seemed like it was missing something]
2) Blood [spray] from Kaoru's shoulder wound reduced,
3) View of Gohei's dripping, bloody sword cut from the murder scene
4) Dripping blood reduced/removed from Gohei's thumb wound in Kaoru's flashback
5) Goon's "Oh my god, he just took out five guys with one swing" changed to "Oh my gosh, he just took out five guys with one swing"; but many other instanced of the word "kill" left in [illustrating Cartoon Network's willingness to use the word, just not abusively]
6) Gohei's "I've been waiting in the bowels of hell for 11 years to throw the Kamiya Kasshin style into the abyss" changed to "I've been waiting for a long time to throw the Kamiya Kasshin style into the abyss"
7) Completely new ending; Heart of Sword isn't supposed to be used until much later in the series, and the video used was a mix of clips from three or four different opening and ending sequences
Overall - Basically, exactly what I expected. 95% intact.
