According to a post on Skullknight.net by Darkhorse editor Chris Warner starting with volume 13 Berserk will be released bimonthly (Link.). I guess they finally got tired of all the death threats by irate fanboys.

And much rejoicing occured.

Any site devoted to a single anime or manga attracts some SERIOUSLY overzealous fans who over analyze every detail of every chapter. Scary, scary stuff.

Well good news for all the Berserk fan. I know my wallet is going to be drain a lot faster, but september is a long way to go.

Now if only Darkhorse made some official announcement for Ohikkoshi.

That's good to hear. But why can't they start now? Why wait to volume 13? Well, better late than never.

From what I gather, it was originally going to be serialized in Super Manga Blast!, but when it became known that it would go under, they passed it off to a diffrent team and will release it as a graphic novel sometime in 2006 (proboboly summer).
And the people over at Skullknight are almost deranged. I made the mistake of joining about a year ago before realizing all the users were people who devoted their free time to researching the social structure of the trolls in volume 25 Confused

He hasn't been. He's been on a Miura-break, as usual. They're normal things. The new chapter comes out Thursday.
