Anybody else watch this show? It was very slow to start, but I thought came to a nice climax, and could have ended in the middle spoiler[after Ayumu went back home.] However, I then watched episode 13, spoiler[and found the show seems to go in another direction. Does it ever get back on track? Does this girl have anything to do with Ayumu?]

Also, everytime I hear Miki's cell phone ring, I swear it sounds so familiar - does anybody else recognize that song?

All these will be answered by the end of the show, more or less. Keep watching.

It's the aria/chorus piece "Uletaj na kryl'jach vetra" from Borodin's opera Prince Igor -- you no doubt find it familiar because it was transformed into a pop/hip-hop song a few years back, by Warren G. and Sissel Kyrkjebø, for the album The Rapsody.

EDIT: I'd misremembered the particular piece from "Prince Igor" -- it wasn't the "Dance of the Polovtsians" as I'd first remembered it.

Actually, I've never even heard of that... but then again, I haven't really been following Warren G too closely. I was actually thinking it was from an Anime - sort of an in-joke that I just couldnt' figure out. I don't really listen to a lot of rap music at all, so I would be surprised if that's where I knew this song from. But thank you for the information. I will keep with it.

I finished the series, and I actually have some questions, or more precisely, I want to make sure I'm not completely off base in the ending, if that's all right.

From what I gathered, spoiler[the Material Evils and Material Fairies are born from feelings, or rather, the feelings that are kept bottled up, correct?] Kisa says spoiler[that she created the fairies, and then later said she created Wakkun, at least named him anyway,] but one of the other conversations, it made it seem like it was spoiler[everyone's feelings that created them?]

I'm also a little unclear when it comes to the purpose of the spoiler[two different fairies. I know that one is dark and one is light, but are the different fairies born of the motive of the feelings? If that's true, would that explain why Pou-chan was a Material Evil, while Bun-chan was a Material Fairy based on Kisa's feelings?] I'm also a little confused on spoiler[Wakkun's involvement in the series, and how he relates to Kisa, but I don't know if I just missed that or not. Is he a Material Fairy/Evil himself?] Perhaps this series warrants another watch.
