If you really like saiyuki (which I have), then Kiddy Grade isnt that childish but funny and has some action plus a great story. If you want drama Saikano is a romance and a great war story. Or one i think is top stuff got to be Great Teacher Onizuka (G.T.O). Just look around and you might find something you really like, check the encylopedia or new releases.

Another good show I would recomend is Bleach. It is curently up to episode 63, and has some good humor in it. The charectors are very well devloped and has some matureness to the show.
I dont want to get into too much detail and end up runing the story for you if you chose to watch it. These are just my oppinions on the shows after watching them. There are many good shows out there to watch and listing them all can be hard. I would sujest taking a look at the Top 10 Favoriest listing at the top of this forum, and see what ofther people have writen about other animes.

Yes, Bleach is defintely good and worth taking a look at. I'd also recommend Full Metal Alchemist. It's got a great storyline, characters, animation, everything you could ask for.
I'd also like to recommend Berserk. This one is defintely not childish. Lots of fighting and action and great characters. The animation is also very fitting for the story.
Flame of Recca might be good if you liked DBZ. It has a lot of fighting, an while it does have a plot it's basically fighting.
There is also Neon Genesis Evangelion. It has a more psychological edge to it than the other ones you've seen but this one is loved by many. It has some great fights and the characters are amazing.

Well, everyone compares Naruto to the Dragon Ball franchise; it's super-charged power fighting, only with ninja instead of Saiyans and whatever else. I don't see how Naruto can be any more childish than DB.
In the Escaflowne department, RahXephon is similar in that it combines love story + giant robots + a bunch of semi-meaningless babble about destiny. It's pretty similar to Evangelion too, but worth a look.
Like Saiyuuki: Rune Soldier is a great comedy/fantasy/action series. It features a clueless, brutish apprentice magician who joins a team of three female adventurers. Fanservice and hilarity ensue, with swords and magic aplenty.
It's hard to find shows exactly like Wolf's Rain, but Trigun also features post-apocalyptic world + some violence + people on the run, adventuring through the world with powerful enemies on their tail. Definitely more comedy than Wolf's Rain, especially in the first half.
If you want a place with recommendations, try anime-planet.com . You can enter in a series title and see similar shows. You could also try anidb.info, which has summaries/reviews of shows, along with a search for similar/related series. (Apologies if the second site I typed is censored.)
