You're right, they are ugly. And if you do want to snuggle with them, you're probably one of those sick bastards that I was just watching of a repeat of Dateline's To Catch a Predator on MSNBC. One guy brought his FIVE-YEAR-OLD!!! (sorry for going off topic there. These people obviously make me soo angry.)

God only knows where those things came from. I checked with Right Stuf to see if there was anything else that was Yaoi High School (just in case you were blocked from entering) but the only items that came up where the "ugly things."

What, that's not attractive to you??? Lol, I saw either these or some very similar to them at A-Kon. Also, yaoi kissing plushies. Not sure if they were the same character, but imagine two dolls at least as ugly as these with magnets in their mouths so that they kiss... It's the stuff nightmares are made of.

Well, whatever these are from, it's apparently the source of those shaq-fuing yaoi paddles that plagued my last con...

I think the paddles came before the dolls. They're apparently a couple of years old (I've never actually seen one, but I've heard terrifying rumors) but I've never seen these dolls before.

Yes, the paddles have been around for awhile. The dolls have magnets at their lips, and kiss. Otherwise, yep, they fugly! lol

I want a paddle with one side yaoi, and the other yuri. That would kick ass.

Good grief, I just checked that page I linked, and those paddles are forty dollars! Who on Earth has that much disposable cash? I assumed they were about ten dollars tops. Are they made of exceptionally high-quality wood, or are they flimsy things that break on impact and force people to buy new ones every time they smack with all their might? What a gimmick, I bet the guy that came up with the idea is filthy rich.

I always figured a moe paddle would have "GANBARE! ^^;" or something like that written on it. Laughing

S***, those things are freakin' creepy. I have no idea where they're from, personally and well...don't really want to know. Although what scares me more is that there must be a market for them otherwise they wouldn't sell them.

I'm kind of a scientific person at heart, I don't really collect "cute" things or collectibles, so I may be treading dangerous water when I ask this but I have to know... but what the hell is the point of those paddles (or do I even want to know)?

And yes those dolls are indeed hideous in more than one way, if I ever saw someone walking around with one, I don't know if I could hold back Confused

There is no real ponit for the paddles. Their like the tabloids for yaoi fans. There is no point, but they're a lot of fun!
