After Haruhi suzumiya being popular among fans, I would like some anime recommendations because I’m having a hard time choosing them. I thought (most of you are going to kill me now) that show was average. Now I want to know if there are any latest anime which are good, by all means latest in Japan.
The anime genre I would prefer would be a seinen title but i would not mind shounens. What ever they got in there is FINE so I would not worry about any other genre except for giant fighting robots and shoujo
Shehzad Evil or Very Mad shojo

Here's this list of the anime I have watched so far.

people might have noticed that I given anime dbz and tenchi muyo ova masterpiece ratings and its way higher than Haruhi Suzumiya. This is because that anime like them made me watch better anime after so I would not be watching FMA and Cowboy bebop. Oh and anime on UK Tv is really bad they do lots of edits. Lately on Jetix Uk they have done so many cut from the naruto US edit version. Seems they are butchering naruto.

Anyway I’m getting of the point I just would like to see a new anime that just came out from this month and I want to know if any are one to watch and in addition I also wold not mind anime who have worked under company with big bucks.

I did not see Full Metal Panic, or Eureka Seven on that list. I would Highly Reccomend those to you. Also have you seen any Gundam? There is also Basalisk, Trinity Blood, Hellsing Ultimate, and This Ugly yet Beautyful World! I recomend them all to you HIGHLY!

Full Metal panic Is a great mecha Series, With tons of great animation and Lots of Really Interesting Charcters. It has a Fantastic story line that I think you would enjoy. Oh... And it was Made by GONZO. Smile

Hellsing Ultimate is what hellsing should have been, Based right off the manga. It has Vampires, Nazi's, and The Irish! What more could you ask for. Very Happy

Eureka Seven is also another Great tital that I think that you would enjoy. It Reminde's Me alot of Full Metal Alchemist but without the Philosofacil Crap. It has Some of the Collest Charcter Design's I have Ever Seen too!

As for the "Butchering" of Naruto, Its hard to Butcher something That was already Bad in the First place.

Well, if you are ready to take a dive into some anime with deeper meanings, then I've got some recommendations for you.

The Twelve Kingdoms is worth a shot. I personally liked the beginning, but many people don't. However, the character development and the world are both phenominal in this fantasy series.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is another one of those classics that is a must see if you haven't already. It goes deep into the psychological aspects of the main characters. Some didn't like the ended, though I definitely did.

Full Metal Panic! was recommended here as well. This entire series is excellent, even the comedy series called FUMOFFU. The first series, FMP!, is a blend of comedy and story that come together to form unforgettable characters. However, the really awesome plot comes from The Second Raid, which was produced after FUMOFFU, but you can watch it directly after watching the first series, as FUMOFFU adds virtually nothing to the story line.

I don't think I saw any Samurai anime in your list, so why not give one a try? I would go with either Rurouni Kenshin or the shorter, yet deeper Samurai 7. Both are excellent and well worth the watch. Though, if you want a nice ending to Kenshin, I would stop watching after the Kyoto story-line ends.

Well, that's all I've got for you now. Good luck.

Not really, you don't want to know how many unnecessary edits they have made. Have a look at this article
http://www.animeuknews.net/viewarticle.php?showarticle=43

Anyway I'm going off topic first I do not like any anime series that says the word gundam. I don't like Mecha's and if I liked them it would have to be something special. I looking for future release like animes that are coming out in August to autumn. Basically a new anime to watch out for.

Both Full Metal Panic! and Neon Genesis Evangelion are mecha, but trust me on this one, both are something special. Both shows spend way more time out of the mechs than in them anyway. Also, the mechs of Evangelion (the Eva) aren't really mechs by classic definition.

Seems odd that you prefer seinen (like GTO that you have listed), yet you only rate it Very Good and give shounen series like Bleach, DBZ, FMA, and Outlaw Star Masterpiece ratings.

Are you sure you don't just want shounen, because I can think of quite a few. Well, I'm still trying to figure out whether or not to label them as seinen or shounen right now, but here they go:

Blood+ -- Basically a vampire anime, but not really. They don't ever use the actual term "vampire" from what I recall, but there are creatures that feed of off blood and assumed to be of a vampire-ish nature.

The series starts out slow at first then really picks up around episode 20. I'd like to categorize it as a seinen because of how well written it is compared to the likes of all those titles I mentioned above. But if you've seen as far as I have, it's pretty easy to label it shounen as well if you think about the basic concept. Still, I highly recommend this for action/adventure fans.

It doesn't rely on magic or super powers that much either, as misleading as my vampire reference makes it sound. Aside from a few transformations from man to monster that only really include heightened physical abilties, it's a great action/drama series nonetheless, and the characters are very down to earth for such a seemingly supernatural theme.

The musical score is FANTASTIC, and probably the best I've heard for this type of anime to date. If you're familiar with Hollywood composers Marc Mancina and Hans Zimmer, you'll notice many of their subtlties in the music and really get into the series as it progresses.

Berserk -- By far one of my top seinen and fantasy anime. It's extremely violent, but also extremely well written. A tale of a man who goes from nothing to something and back to nothing is an easy way to sum it up. Of course it's not as simple as it sounds, and the real enjoyment comes from the story of how it all happened.

On top of that violence I mentioned, the overall setting is pretty dark in itself and tells a masterful story of the tribulations of war, trust, hardship, betrayal, and ultimately revenge. Well, the revenge part is only partly true, but you'll see when you get to the end.

Not sure how old you are or if you object to things like nudity, sex, and rape, but there are elements of this towards the end, so I'm giving you fair warning now. It's for mature audiences, or at least the mature-minded.

Ninja Scroll (movie) -- Somewhat of a classic in its own right for being nothing more than a movie full of action, gore, and sex. Some would say it's a guilty pleasure of sorts, but I love it anyway. If you're not looking for a deep plot or any character development (which most movies do anyway), then you'll love this strictly for the elements I just mentioned.

Swordsmen, demons, ninja clans, dismembered bodies, walking corpses, that sort of thing. And yes, it has nudity, sex, and rape like Berserk, though at a slightly higher level being a movie and all. I recommend this strictly for what I said it is, and nothing else.

Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust -- Same director as Ninja Scroll, but much more tame in terms of presentation. Again, lots of action, though hardly any of the sexual material as mentioned in NS. This one's more of an adventure, mystery, and a little bit of a romance (not between the main characters, though).

Excellent art and animation as expected from Madhouse, but the music and English track were only mediocre. You'd be surprised to know that while it's a Japanese-produced title, the audio work was initially done in the U.S. Something about VHD being more popular here than in Japan and how they wanted to unveil this creation in America first, which I find very hard to believe Rolling Eyes.

Because of that, this title was orginally "made in English," though there was a Japanese dub later produced, and in my opinion sounds a little better.

Anyway, that's all I've got for now. Do you want just action or do you not mind things that are heavy on dialgoue? Judging by your lists, it seems you don't like comedy all that much either (probably why you didn't like Suzumiya Haruhi).

I like most mecha series I see but I'm not much of a Gundam fan either. There's a lot more to the mecha genre than just Gundam. Think of Gundam like the plain generic brand, it's okay, but then you can turn to the more exotic ones like FMP, Eureka7, Eva, RahXephon and while the very basics of the premise are the same, large robots, the depth and the story and the quality are vastly different and much more worthwhile in my opinion.

I'd say maybe take a look at Scrapped Princess if you liked FMA, it's a bit standard for the first DVD(4 episodes) but comes in to its own after that and really turns out tbe a great series. It surprised the heck out of me, I was expecting a pretty ordinary series and certainly wasn't expecting it to turn in to what it did. Also try taking a look at Last Exile or Escaflowne(series).

Take my recommendations with a grain of salt though, our tastes due differ a great deal although I tried to stick with titles that seemed to fit your list but of course I'd never put Dragonball as a masterpiece and certainly wouldn't rank it higher than Bebop so with such differences it's hard to say. So just look 'em over before you commit.

Most of you are missing the point, I want to see an anime title which has just come out recently in Japan orand anime which will be coming out soon in Japan but which will be a big hit from the oncoming future.

If you want to find series that are new in Japan you can look here:
Latest in Japan

However there won't be much info and even less opinions from people on whether they are any good unless it is already in progress like Honey and Clover II, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, or Binbou Shimai Monogatari, which all have threads here.

Also, it is not brand spanking new but I am throwing in another vote for the Full Metal Panic series. These are very good series, as ryujin jakka and Webki pointed out, and the third series The Second Raid is just a year old and it was just recently licensed. I don't like mecha series either, but I really liked this one, the storyline is well written the main characters are very likable, and the action is great too, well in the first and third series, the second one is mostly comedic, but very well done too, oh and the animation for all of them is wonderful.

In that case, Fate/stay Night is a pretty recent anime series that is fully released now in Japan. It is based off of a popular visual novel game by TYPE-MOON, the same company who did Tsukihime (the game... the anime are both by Geneon I think. Well, Fate definitely is).

Also, Utawarerumono is a relatively new series that is big (I think) in Japan. It's a fantasy series and I'm pretty sure that none of the fansub groups have completed it yet.

That's all I have right now. I can't attest for the quality of Utawarerumono, as I haven't watched it yet myself, but it has received positive feedback.

Fate/Stay Night, on the other hand, I loved. I don't know why that is, but I thought it was absolutely excellent. A very entertaining title. I blew through the whole thing in a day.

Why limit yourself to "the next big thing?" Anime is anime and should be enjoyable regardless of its release date in Japan...

It is better for me to see a new anime. If I see an anime like - for instance Ranma one half. It has that old school flavor. Or like Urusei Yatsura, dragonball z, Ghost in the shell, cowboy bebop, FMA... you get the point. There are load of great anime in the past but one thing now is for certain is that these shows are dead. Finished! when I watch an older program it seem for me like watching a history lesson!
It is very hard in the UK to watch ay decent anime on TV. Most of there anime are edited.
Anyway (bloody Evil or Very Mad I’m going of topic) I herd about this anime call NHK it seems popular.

No offense, but that seems a bit narrow minded. If you're only wanting anime produced and released up to July 25, 2006, then you've just missed out on 99.9999% of what's available throughout the entire industry Shocked. Perhaps you can define what you mean by "current?" This year only, part of last year, all of last year? How far back are you willing to let a title be?

Exactly going on that format alone you would be missing a huge chunk of anime that are extremely interesting and still have top of the line animation in them.

My personal pick Last Exile this show is a couple of years old now but it is still one of the best anime. It has a great story, and of course the animations are unbelievable. There are some beautiful airship battles that will blown your mind away once you get a chance to sit down and watch this series.
Till next time,

I'm having a really hard time understanding what you're trying to say here. I'm also having a really hard time giving any recommendations because of that. So if possible, can you please expand on what you've said?

Okay, let me get this straight, the reason you rated them high is because they introduced you to other anime that you really liked? That doesn't make any sense and makes it even harder to make recommendations. If you didn't really think they were masterpieces and just rated them that for other reasons, I'm going to have a hard time trying to find something you like since you may not actually like it because you didn't rate what you did like truthfully.

Of course, this is what I got out of what you said, if you meant something else, please tell me.

You lost me on the second sentence.

Well, it's pretty much impossible to accurately predict what will become big in the future. I can say that Shounen Jump titles almost always become popular and many of the titles from it you seem to love. Black Cat's a somewhat new Shounen Jump series. I haven't seen it but most of my friends who like SJ titles really liked it, you'll probably like it. This is assuming you really did like them though.
