I'm super excited for this!
Even though I love Detective Conan to death, I have been dying for some more Magic Kaito chapters. I have quite a lot of stuff I want to see from the Magic Kaito manga series, which include: - The Organization that Kaito is up against and if that Organization is connected in any way, shape, or form to the Black Organization in the Detective Conan manga series. - Kaito & Aoko's romantic relationship develop through more heists that Kaito has to perform and more every day situations revolving around their normal lives as high school teenagers. Because I believe that their romantic relationship should be explored more and developed like Ran & Shinichi's and Heiji & Kazuha's relationship in his Detective Conan manga series. - More exploration with Akako's powers as a witch would be great and a bit more of a background story of her character that might tie in to the Black Organization or the Organization that Kaito is up against. - It would also be cool to see Shinichi & Kaito meet as children in a flash back chapter that shows them interacting as friends, but all the while hinting that Kaito may know him as Conan when the flash back ends if he runs into Conan during one of his heists. Therefore confirming the fact that Kaito knows who Conan's secret identity really is. - I would like to see more of Aoko's family life and where her mother is. We don't know if her mother divorced her father or if she's the first dead mother in the Gosho Aoyama universe. But all the same, I want to see more of her family life and it would even be cool to have Kaito interacting with Aoko's family more like Shinichi has been with Ran's parents through being Conan. Gosho Aoyama should try to balance these two series out equally. Even though Detective Conan is the more popular of the two series, I still believe that Magic Kaito should get some more special treatment from time to time because it was his original running manga series. It definitely deserves some more time and love devoted to expanding the universe of Magic Kaito and developing more of it's characters so that the Magic Kaito franchise gives a whole new world of opportunities for Gosho Aoyama fans to enjoy. Overall, I'm excited and pumped to see these 3 new chapters and the upcoming anime series of Magic Kaito as well. |
