The "recap" will also have 40 minutes of new footage, that's a hell lot for a recap movie, i wonder is staff wanna turn the anime story back to manga.

No, I think not. Firstly, the battle with the Kongou spoiler[and her fleet] in the manga is still incomplete, so it's too early to include it in the anime at this moment. So that there is a high probability that they decided to make their own story again with taking the characters from the original. Second, if they are really going to come back to the manga storyline, they're need to add to the plot not the "Student Council" of the Fog Fleet - they're just the enemies on the way. They're need to add the real characters that moved the manga plot seriously, but descended to nothing in the TV series. |

I won't both try to compare the Manga with the Anime/Movie projects.
They are their own animals now. I do wonder if the movies will end up spinning its own version of the television series. I've never been fan of these almost immediate film adaptions of television series just finished it run within 12 months of it airing. |
