Okay, since I was approved of having a meanest character contest I will need requests. You can either post them on here, or better off pm your requests to me.
------------------------------------------------------------ Okay whe you guys do request would you mind just lising them straight down? Also don't right any side comments next to them, If you want to say anything about your coice say it below the whole list. This will make it easier for me to gather all the requests and put them in some ort of order. One more thing, before you request search the page to see if it was mentioned. If you don't know how or don't feel like reading all of the requests simply hold ctrl and press F, then type the name of the characte3r only and if you find it, then do not re-request. Thank you every one for supporting me! ------------------------------------------------------------ I noticed one day there was a crazy character contest and I am currently participating by voting. I wanted to know if there was a way I could start my own contest. It would be almost the opposite: The most evil character contest. Could a Mod. approve it? ~and sticky it? Any one in favor of this could you back me up? If it is approved I need requests. Edit 1: Changed type of contest. Well I don't think you would be able to start one now because one is already started but they might let you start one after its over...you probably know but I'll go ahead a say it anyway that tournaments are hard to set up so if you are willing to put in the time I don't see why they wouldn't but you might want to wait til after this one...I'd support you!!

I have time... And I planned on waiting until the other one was over.
But I would set it up early so there wouldn't be much wait so that's why I asked during thins one because if I finish setting it all up people don't have to wait between rounds and I won't get complainers or naggers |

There is no reason to have two going at a time and PantsGoblin has done a good job with the Tournaments thus far. Besides, he didn't just pick this one and go with it. There was a thread just for picking the theme of the tournament. The next time a tournament comes up, just toss your idea in with everyone else's and maybe it will happen.

Saimoe is an annual tournament where people vote for their favorite moe characters. Desu won this year's contest. I think a Best Anime of 2006/2007 tournament would be fun. There could be a whole bunch of different sub-categories like best comedy, best romance, ect, and you'd vote for your top three favorites for each genre. Then the three series that got most votes from the different sub-categories would face each other off for the Best (insert genre here) title, and then all the different shows that won the Best ___ awards would face each other off to compete for the title of Best Anime of 2006 (or 2007 if the Crazy Character tourney continues into next year, but then the contest would have to be held in the late fall/winter.). Does that make sense? Reading over my post now that idea sounds a little too complicated, but I think it would be fun. EDIT:
You misunderstood. He's not saying that PantsGoblin should do the work for you, he's saying that it would be pointless to hold your tourney right now when another one is currently going on. Maybe you can do your idea when his is over if it gets enough support. |

You don't get it. I'm saying, WE DON'T NEED TWO CONTESTS AT ONCE. Maybe the mods or other people will disagree, but that's MY point. Clear now? Feel free to make your own thread, whether the mods will care, I can't say. I suspect they will just leave it alone unless it there are issues with the rules. Whether or not anyone will bother with it is beyond anyone else's control. |

I already said I would wait until the other one was finished I was just asking in advance to see if any one would be up to a new contest after that and I was giving my self time to set up so I'm not overloaded wth work later. My post:

Truth be told, I don't really care for tournaments. The only reason I'm keeping them around is so you all can have fun and particpate by voting, creating, etc.
I have no clue on how the system works or when the next tourney will come around. But if you want to start planning in advance, feel free to do so. |
