I really enjoyed this series at the start but it really got confusing after I think vol. 6 or so. spoiler[Once the time-travel aspects really took center stage].

Can someone tell me if it gets more coherent or was I right to drop it? I've been a fan of Takei's work for a number of years so I'd like to finish this new one if I can.
