Between this and Chivalry of the Failed Knight, there's going to be no lack of high school mystic tournament stories this fall. And the fact that they both seem to stick to that, rather than going off into "save the world" plots early on could definitely work in their favour (it's something that I also really liked about Unbreakable Machine Doll).
So, I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for this one. Give it my usual three episode test, and then continue or move on. But one thing that won't change is those production values. They look to be up there with Madhouse's work on Irregular at Magic High School and A-1's own work on Sword Art Online. In other words, this series is going to be immensely divisive.
