I wish the developers luck.
Of course i'm worried Konami will send a desist letter on the game on copyright grounds. |

There was a very similar project to this a short time ago, that even had David Hayter lined up to play the leads. Konami initially gave them the green light, but the decision wasn't unanimous and the project ended up cancelled. I don't see why this one will be any different, especially given that Konami have dropped any niceties recently and don't seem to give a toss what anyone thinks.

correction for the article, it is not a remake for original "Metal Gear Solid", it is a remake for "Metal Gear" that originally made for MSX2 in 1987
