See, the thing is about this anime is that it was so good until the ending... I'm not going to spoil it but the ending is so disappointing. Anyone who watched this anime would understand why.

Sigh. A great anime with half hearted ending

I don't remember there being anything particularly disappointing about the ending.

What was disappointing, however, was that we got Precure instead of a follow-up.

I didn't dislike the ending, either. I thought it was very in line with the characterization in the series and a fitting conclusion.

What got on my nerves was the second part of the series, where they drag out the story and the anguish to an almost insufferable length. The series would have been better off with 13 episodes less or more of the episodic stories of the first half.

But it was nice to see Mamoru Hosoda's touch standing out. The opening & ending carry so much of the series and his episodes, especially #26, were great.

And seems like Ashita no Nadja is also a victim of the SD digital production dark age and will never see a HD remaster. Though it was interesting to see how they experimented with CG in the series and got better over its course. The first dance scene was horrendous but they iterated on it and the dances got better and better.

I've heard nothing but good about this show when it first aired. I love the OP song.

I guess they finally getting this one out on DVD.

Would love to see this Stateside.

I own one of the soundtrack discs, and the music for the show is amazing.

I'm a big fan of the 'Pollyanna anime' and was glad to see the genre make a comeback, even for a one-off moment.
