Charlotte (TV) Genres: Magic, School, Drama Themes: Plot Summary: The story centers around the special abilities that occur among a small percentage of boys and girls in puberty. Yuu Otosaka uses his power without others knowing, and lives a fairly normal, average school life. Before him suddenly appears a girl, Nao Tomori. This was announced along with Angel Beats: Hell's Kitchen (OVA) last year although to two anime has nothing in relation with another. I thought the PV looked good in terms of anime production quality. This is an original anime that is a standalone series not based on anything but the premise has potential. It reminds me of Little Busters in a way so I think anything is possible. Been awhile since we've seen Jun Maeda got involved in an anime project as well. |

P.A. Works' stuff have kinda been hit and miss for me. Unfortunately this won't be available for me on CR (wtf CR? Eccentric Family, Nagi-Asu, Glasslip and Shirobako were and are available for me). I'll probably follow this weekly anyway. I'm kind of interested in the magic aspect of this show.

Episode 1:
Hmm, so it starts off with some narration with Yuu being featured in the majority of the first half. He seems to have the power to briefly possesses someone for a short period of time. Cheating on tests isn't the only thing he does apparently since he used it on some guys while walking back to school. What a troll lol. Seems like he's kinda popular as well for the ladies. I think the show has a decent pace so far. Not only did it introduce Yuu and his powers but also his personality. However, I find it that he is a guy that takes HUGE risks. I mean, trying to make himself a hero (initiated by himself thanks to his ability) and to impress another girl... Nao is kinda funny. She seems to have observed all of his moments.... |

Man, Yu is a mega-douche. I'm glad to see his bad behaviour blow up in his face, especially this early on. I expect he'll grow quite a bit in his new school.

Yu really knew how to use his gift. Things were really working out for him. Well.. up to a certain point when it got even more intriguing. Will give this a try.. |

Episode 1
I like this guy, the narcissism of Kanie, and the scheming and maniacal laugh of Lelouch. The café had "Key Coffee", standout being that this is the same brand that appeared in the vendinging machines in Angel Beats. Wait, this is not just P.A. Works, this Visual Arts/Key. This cannot be as happy and carefree as it appears. Another thing, that guy's ability cannot be teleporting, he seems to mostly just move at a very fast speed in single directions. |

That being said, on the other side of the coin, the main character probably deserved it

This seems like it has potential and I'm surprised that I didn't find Yu as insufferable as I thought I would. That being said, I'm on board with this for now.
