I was under the impression that "new anime" referred to anime that has just started, but apparently ReLife has been out for a while now..yet is considered a new anime for summer?? Confused. Is it according to whether the anime is being streamed legally or not?

Should have posted this in the series thread.
Relife was released in full on some manga app or something. What started now was the TV broadcast.
