Nice, Tsurumaki and Enokido together again. Can't wait, and I hope this is just the first of many Animator Expo shorts to get turned into longer works.

Yeah really. It wasn't bad, but it was certainly lower on the ranking of stuff you'd care to see more of.

I wonder if veteran Japanese VA Megumi Hayashibara is going to return as the voice of the female protagonist.

I personally found this to be one of the more underrated JAX shorts (of the 12 I've seen), and I'm glad it's getting an expansion.

Khara is finally stepping up its game, into TV, and away from Eva. Although I would still take an Eva sequel (yes, I know, I am crazy).

And, next up, an Iconic Field TV anime spoiler[(pretty, pretty please?)], a Yamadeloid series spoiler[(same here)], that Rapid Rouge sequel, and a Robot on the Road movie spoiler[(ditto)]. Shoot, even a Conte (Hitman) 1989 short series, Ibuseki Yoruni film, Carnage short film, and some kind of Ragnarok feature.

Yeah, Khara should have no problem grasping for project ideas for a good long time

I'm glad they're farmign the Expo for larger features. This was one I'd like to see more of. There are others, as well, of course, but I have no regret in seeing this one expanded on. Anno has a thing for old ship models, doesn't he? Makes some sense that a short with ships in the background would be something he'd want to work on more.

Yeah, for real. This was definitely one of the more mediocre ones for me. I guess I'll watch it if there is a legal stream, but I'm not going to go out of my way.

@Sam Murai, most interesting comment here. Unfortunately, you are likely the only person in this universe who knows what you are trying to communicate. Please try again after the effects wear off...

I'm really looking forward to this one. I liked it quite a bit when it came out, and it seemed like the kind of thing that, more than others, would benefit from a longer, more fleshed-out story, like what we saw was just the tip of the iceberg.

I understood him perfectly well; he's anticipating more Animator Expo short expansions, as am I. Or do you just find it so difficult to believe people enjoyed any of those? Either way, your comment is frankly the most baffling one here--everyone encounters posts and threads on an anime forum they aren't totally clued in on or in agreement with.
