Covering multiple generations in only 18 3-5 minute episodes, fail.
So much content will be skipped. Why not do like Monster Strike and do it weekly for a long time. |

So basically I will need to read the manga(pocket monsters) and play the videogames to get the full story.
This is barely enough to watch for the anime side...though I guess fans that enjoy Red pokemon origins will enjoy this. |

Hope it's worth it, but at least this and reading the Adventures manga are providing better stories compared to the current problems with the anime.

Yes...180-300 seconds just isn't enough for a full story of what went on in Pokémon Special and the gaming world. Plus, having Red being the only starring character for all Generations could spoil the show pretty quick...

Let's see....18 episodes.....about 3-5 minutes..... We're looking at roughly 54-90 minutes, right??? If we put the episodes together they add up to around or over an hour. Almost the length of a movie.

That's definitely a kick in the nuts for every Pokémon fan. A series fans have been craving for, that will most likely never happen after this announcement.

I'm not bothered by the length at all. I never expected this, so whatever if it's short. Of course it can't tell the whole story, but it's just a nice treat for fans.

They're probably going to be within the game continuity as opposed to their own. |
