K-on is still popular eventhough the movie for it last aired in 2011, which is good. Then again, it did set a new mark in slice of life shows. Pretty neat regarding this tesla coil.

Let me get this straight. High school students made a Tesla coil that does the theme song of "K-ON?"
 I couldn't believe the headline once I read it. It's just too bizarre to believe. Right now,I imagine that Nicola Tesla is,at this very moment,spinning around in his grave because of this.

If this was done at USA high school, it might have gotten some coverage by some of the major newspaper/magazine sites (NY Times, USA Today, etc.) and they might do it from a child neglect/endangerment angle. Also, if the ED was from an American show, they likely would be handed the copyright infringement card.
