Couldn't they have announced the supporting cast at the same time? Instead of 1 and 2 characters every time??

They could but this way is more HYPE MAPPA is hyping the series a lot with makes me believe that they have high expectations for it.
and they released only 1 Student Council member per day ANN was 1/2 days late with the news.
