If I recall correctly, the director of Tokyo Ghoul directed an Oscar nominated short, so it’s worth submitting when you find out it’s eligible. It won’t win to whatever comes out before Cars 3 or Coco, but getting the nomination should boost his popularity into the stratosphere.
