Every time I see a cast announcement for a Sentai show without Monica Rial. I always hear something along the lines of, "Thank god it doesn't have Monica Rial, they overuse her". Which I fount odd at first, I know she is a regular, but I've seen a ton of shows without her. But after seeing this, it does make a bit of sense. She is immediately obvious, and makes a big impression, you really know she is in it.

I don't mind that she's in everything, I do find it a little irritating that she plays the same character in every show though. The fact that I saw Monica's name and immediately knew she'd be playing Miyano shows that she doesn't really have much variety going for her.

She may not have much range, I've seen her in many titles over the years, and for the most part it is either something like this, or a more reserved version of this. The only complexity out of character roles I've ever seen her in were; Rahxephon, Michiko to Hatchin and Golgo 13.
