"Oh, well, the market is saturated, is this going to - "
- Character designers inc. Kirishima Sou (mg4)
- Toshiki Masuda -> ponytail character, Arthur Lounsbery -> Megane character
- Wa-style unit includes Yuuto Suzuki AND Genki Okawa?
Yes. Please.
..... I do wish they would promote these things by the composers, though. The music sounds generic. I love seiyuu and character designers, obviously, but like... the reason Pythadol and TsukiPro are that much better than all the other idol series is because of their music.

...are they even trying anymore? I'm sorry, but that was the first thought that came to mind.
That CG is awful, character designs look uninspired and the song wasn't anything great either. Still, this is just the beginning. All the same though, I hope it gets better.

Same honestly. The character designs look like such cookie cutter idol sim bullshit that it's really tiresome. In reality, the determining factor for this kind of game is the music, and this music just seems bland (which is shocking, considering, well, Square Enix). But then again, we've only heard that one generic title track thusfar. Most of the idol franchises (even Love Live) started out with pretty generic sounding tracks.
I also really hope the actual gameplay is good (i.e., it's a proper rhythm game), but that's probably not what we'll be getting.

The concept is cute but doesn't go far enough
I'd love a game that's a mixture of rpg and idol raising, sort of like the atelier games mixture of alchemy and rpg
also i don't like male idols much and these guys all look really really super generic
I didn't even bother listening because I bet the music is generic too

Boring, I want an RPG with idols with some producing in it oh and all the cast of the main FF
titles to choose from instead of making new idols as the cast well most of them (I'm not sure about the cast from FFIII and earlier but anything from IV-XV are ready for the stage by default) are already ideal for the stage (I want a unit with Relm, Rydia, and Selphie).

I'm male idol trash and I love the concept, but I'm kinda disappointed the idols aren't final fantasy characters ....

Looks nice. Console release would be better though.
