Good to see there are still Yo-kai Watch games being released outside of Japan. Too bad Pokémon GO ruined any chances of the franchise being the "next big thing."

Man, they completely gutted all the Ghostbusters stuff. The name, the suits, the guns, the car, the main villain. Such a shame. That was kind of the whole point of the game. The second game parodies Indiana Jones, so if that gets localized I imagine they'll take all that stuff out too.

I think the Japanese cultural elements that would be hard to localize and the lack of marketing for the games did more to contribute to their lack of success in the US than Pokemon GO. Pokemon GO is also popular in Japan yet Yokai Watch still has a strong fanbase over there.
