Why does THIS have more realistic designs than Mitsuboshi Colors?

Well, "realistic", we're on the PV and it already looks off-model often.

Oh, wow. I had no idea this was coming! I absolutely love the manga--one of my all-time favorite comedies, right up there with Azumanga and Angel Densetsu.
