She has a music career too, so she's probably focusing more on that. 18 isn't a central character in Dragon Ball, after all.

She is in the Universe Survival arc...which the dub is currently in.

Yes she is but remember they record roles for simuldubs within a couple weeks of each outing. She probably doesnt have time for that sadly like she does with super where she can record her roles voice once every couple of months

If I can remember, was Kagura the boar?
I never thought her voice ranged suited her, to be honest...I thought she sounded older than the character actually was. Everything else was spot on though.
Interested in Tia Ballard's take.

I'm pretty happy with both of these new cast members. Tia Ballard was the best part of the Bloom Into You dub, and I've loved her in roles prior. Mikaela (who I really liked in Chio's School Road, which has a hilarious dub btw) has done enough roles voicing a young boy (such as Ryu in Snow White with the Red Hair) that I think she'll be great.
I'm really curious how many episodes the series will be. I've read the manga, I just have a terrible gauge for stuff like this.

Figured Momiji would likely be recast. Years back thought Kimberly Grant would've been perfect for Honey-senpai but wasn't to be. Of main characters, can see also Tohru's two best friends, Kisa and Hiro also being recast due to their actors kinda disappearing, and Kate Bristol and Aaron Dismuke having grown up.

That's all voice actors/actresses. They never sound the age of the character they speak for.

Yeah, same here. I think I read she wasn't available when Kai was recorded, but I would assume she is in the area since she is back for Super.

C'mon, don't do that. I was referring to one person for a reason. I thought the rest of the cast fit well.

Yeah, Meredith was out of the country at the time that both parts of Kai was being recorded but she had been back as 18 since the Battle of Gods movie.

Mikaela Krantz is a spot-on choice for this kind of character. To be honest, I can't even remember Kagura, but Tia's amazing as cutesy girls so I'll rest easy.

I also have to agree that I thought Kagura sounded too old for the role in what was otherwise a good dub so I'm satisfied with her being recast for the redub, especially if the actress isn't active in the business anymore.
