Japanese Ninja Turtles. While I find that to be rather redundant, here's a short clip - including an opening theme:

I can recognize drawings from the "cartoon". But it's definitely Japanese - and weird. With the crystal thing... I dunno man. There was just something about crystals with the late 80's early 90's. (See Sailor Moon) Laughing

**Cough** Check this out**Cough**

Yeah I can't bring myself to watch that, it ruins the ninja turtles I grew so fond of as a child. And it's the same reason why I don't have plans to see the new movie.

Well, Supermutant Bebop and Rocksteady were pretty cool...

It's so sad that they could take such a stereotypically Japanese approach to our old favorite show from childhood -- transformations and combining robots (I know, it's the turtles combined, but it sure looks like a robot)!!

And those Super Turtles look reallllly hokey.

Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing !!!!!!! *Catches Breath*

Man, I thought that was some sort of joke at first, but when I checked Deltakiral's link, I just thought to myself "man, that's pretty sad, and yet so darn funny at the same time!"

I will say though that it looked cool enough anyways. It's just that TMNT is what it is, and does a good job of being what it is, as does anime (or at least that genre anyways) and to try and make it something it isn't just completely ruins it to no end.

I see so many ideas stolen from other shows. When I looked at the news headings I was like wow, 4Kids is doing so bad.

I could have live without knowing there was a even crappy TMNT out there[ "shudders"] Seriously, even the summary of the series make its sounds generic. Please for got sake I hope this is not the doing of 4KIDS.

It looks like it's something from the EARLY 1990s, there's no way 4Kids would get their dirty hands on something that old.

I am still creeped out by their Jeweled forms. Laughing Seeing as it was made in 1996 - definitely fell into that fetish for "crystals". Laughing

Oh man. Took me 5 minutes of the 1st episode to render disapproval. It's like, Sorry Japan. Sometimes the domestic stuff here turns out to be better.

as one who grew up watching the orginal turtles and also big one of there biggest fans as a kid, WHAT THE %&*@? the only thing that the turtles and that show have in common is that both of them are green. Although the new bebop and rocksteady do look cool. thats it.

I thought it looked like something I'd watch for a while, just to see how hilarious it was. It's pretty funny when all the clichéd ideas evar come together like this.
