This is Oshii? Confused I mean i guess I can kinda of see it in the designs, but this doesn't seem like him at all.

According to the official site, this anime is airing in Fall, not Spring

Maybe that's why he made this, he doesn't just want to be known as someone who only makes Hard Science Fiction titles. That said, given that aside from the character designer, most of these people worked back when Oshii was most prevalent, it could end up being a lot like his work in certain parts.

He's just following the two-fold Masamune Shirow path: Make sci-fi anime and be horny on main.

We don't even have an animated trailer or a sense how the jokes will be played out yet. Heck, maybe the character designs could be in benefit for the jokes like in Zombieland Saga.

We finally get more Oshii/Kenji Kawai collaboration and it's an all female cast. :[
Bummer for me I guess. I like mixed casts and I also like to have at least ONE guy character in a show... it's the same for all male casts. I don't like them.

But I'm pretty sure I'm still gonna check out the ost even if I skip this.

Somehow, the poster and character description reminded me of some original anime from Trigger. It is as if I already feel a sense of postmodernism.

I understand what you want to say, but in this case it is used to clearly position the show for a male audience. This is not a plot concept, but a marketing strategy.

I desperately, desperately hope that this turns out to be in the same vein as Gosenzo-sama Banbanzai!. That's Oshii's comic register, and that's what we need more of.[/i]

If this is a slapstick comedy, doesn't that poster look too over-dramatic...?

He sounded rather upset when he chucked out that quote about how no boys were going to be allowed in this series as that would somehow ruin the Yuri aspect. Almost, “sir, this is a Wendy’s” tier in my book.

The character designs look nice, but...high school again? Crying or Very sad
