Yet most of animes on CR in Europe are still geoblocked, including those who are produced by Aniplex.

Aniplex owns Wakanim. They wouldn’t give their licenses to Crunchyroll if they have their own competing streaming platform in (parts of) Europe.

Looks like CR has more brand recognition in that region.

Why would it be? The only changes that you should expect would be more catalog shows being added to Crunchyroll in the Europe. Crunchyroll consistently streams Worldwide outside Asia (i.e.: North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS) for all their simulcasts years ago with few exceptions (shows whose master license was owned by FUNi and shared with Crunchyroll like Fruits Basket and Fire Force; Aniplex shows). Outside of that, they haven't announced what they'll do with home video since their announced Viz partnership last July.
