Narita was definitely... let's say "inspired" by IWGP when he created Durarara. If you watch the first ep, there's a bit where Mikado says he wants to go to Ikebukuro West Gate Park, and Kida's like, "Stop watching so much TV. Nobody calls it that. It's just Nishiguchi Koen."
