Thank you for the review! I went and purchased and read immediately!
The story kept me turning the pages and never felt mired in overwrought drama. There are a lot of relatable details in here such as having to deal with parental expectations of having a child as you get on in your thirties (Mom, I’m almost 40, I think that ship has sailed), inter office relationships and what shape your life should take for you to be happy. I agree with the reviewer that the end felt a bit rushed. But overall I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a more mature GL read! |
