This was a real surprise for me when it aired as it left me wanting more. I was sad thinking there would not be a sequel. Thanks to the producers and KyoAni!

I just rewatched this series. It is so good! Delighted to see that we are getting a sequel movie. Very glad to see KyoAni recovering, too.

So is this going to be a brand new original story or a compilation film? I feel like Tsurune is one of KyonAni's more underrated works.

I assume its going to be an original but either way I'm all in. Glad to see all this work coming out of Kyoani. I don't recall hearing any recent news about Naoko Yamada's next project - she usually has a movie every three years or so - her last was Liz and the Blue Bird (2018) - anybody hear anything? Really looking forward to Miss Koybayashi's Dragon maid Season 2 in 2021.

I just binged the entire show. Beautiful animation and I really enjoyed the show. Thrilled that Tsurune is getting a movie as well.
