That's great and now all we need is GKIDS to get the American rights so we can are all good.

I do prefer to let Funimation get the rights to dub the movie.

I hope so. Not only is GKIDS able to provide the film a well funded NYAV Post dub, GKIDS is also capable of successfully campaigning for Oscars nominations and Anime Award nominations/wins.
Although I understand Belle is unlikely to win a Oscar, another nomination still opens doors. As Hosoda was nominated for Mirai, he was able to meet Disney character designer Jin Kim at a Oscars event and eventually collaborate for Belle.
