So it's a Mario Kart knockoff with much less interesting track design?

I wonder what the "story mode" will be like. Few racing games ever bother, but sometimes it works relatively well (EG Jak X: Combat Racing had a decent story to it).

I'm interested to play this game just to see characters from the Chocobo's Dungeon series again.

Oh dear god, can we please stop calling these Mario Kart games. Other companies have been making kart racing games since the 90s, it's not a solely Nintendo thing.It would be like calling every new FPS a Doom clone.

I'm interested on SE diving into a genre that is pretty much not their forefront genre, and definitely curious on their twist on the upcoming racing game Very Happy

This is a blast from the past. I still remember all the hours I threw playing the original Chocobo Racing.
