Godzilla vs Hedora is one of the strangest movies in the whole franchise. The opening credits alone are like a combo of James Bond psychedelics mixed with stock film of polution all to a catchy tune seeming to praise garbage (probably lost in translation)
the rest is comedy gold just screaming for an MST3K treatment. Strange editing and audio mixing make it even more awkward. Then random cuts of hand drawn animated sequences. And the initial shot of Godzilla. Man I have to watch this again. It was awesome. |
