I don't think it's a two hour special -- the "December 31 from 10:00-11:55 p.m" timing is for the overall Fate Project New Year Special broadcast, and the Case Files episode will likely only take up a half-hour or so of the total duration, like in 2018.

That should be fun. I don't think Case Files works very well in a short-story format (it needs time to establish ground rules for whatever magical thing the current case centers on for the solution not to come out of nowhere), but the novels are still my favorite part of Fate.
