Also possible he's just not the kind of creator that really enjoys drawing, but more saw drawing as a means of getting to write. Now that he's successful and prominent, he can get someone else to handle it.
or he's just learnd he enjoys collaborating due to Oshi no Ko. Lots of possibilities.
