You don't have to tell me it's better than the anime, I already LOVED the anime!

I read this the other day, and unfortunately found it merely okay. All of the characters were pretty one dimensional, especially Keiichi and Matsunaga, and Mari was annoying (and agreed that that scene with her and Matsunaga was icky). I couldn't help comparing this in my head to Daily Lives of High School Boys, which has a similar premise but also just enough weirdness-- and more humor and likeability-- that I stuck with it through the end. I may give Rainbow Days the second volume test later on, but given how much else I'm reading right now, that might not happen for awhile.
