I really enjoyed the work Masanori Takumi put into Claymore and Witchblade, but I was disappointed to see that he hadn't done any anime scores since those two (in fact, it appears all of his anime composing work occurred within a 3-4 year span). I did notice that he was doing standalone work, since, so to see someone of his talent and creativity win a Grammy is very awesome. The album sounds really good from the previews I've heard (and funnily enough, it sounds like something you could hear in an anime…).
