unless there is a planned sequel, the story's ending was too ambiguous for me to enjoy replaying it again.

They haven't announced it yet, but there's absolutely no way they're not working on a sequel. The ending was about as much of a sequel hook as the ending of Mask of Deception. (and as a reminder, they had not announced that Mask of Truth was in development yet at the time that MoD was released because they wanted to keep the ending a surprise)

hope so, i only played through deception and truth after playing prelude to the fallen on the Ps4 1st, so i was late to the party for this franchise.
the finale of this one gave me the same feeling as trails in the sky, i never liked it till after SC got localized because of how that one ended and there was no guarantee that would of happened with how many issues xseed had with it.

I actually rather liked the ending- it struck the right bittersweet chords for me, I guess. Whereas Trails in the Sky FC was very clearly a cliffhanger for part 2.
