Spin spinners, not roll dice. It even shows in the promo trailer.
As someone who recently played through this, players should be aware that the game intentionally tries to get players to go after each other through items: Blackmail, Big Bug, and Contract (if in last place, this comes up over and over). The game does have an ending and highly valued items (quest objectives and the like) are often stolen, destroyed, etc. and equipment can be broken by enemy attacks. When you lose a battle, money, items, and equipment can be destroyed or stolen.
