That’s both interesting and kind of not surprising. Just like fans in the states, Japanese fans have mixed feelings towards 3D anime. I wonder how well received anime made by Orange is in Japan. They’re the only anime studio I can think of that have consistently clean CGI productions.
Anyway- seeing Okubo’s art again makes me nostalgic. Seeing it 3D animated will be fun. I’m interested in seeing how this project turns out.

This is an interesting question considering that Yoko's mobile game SINoALICE has some death game-style elements in the plot...
