How are Yamada Anna's skills with a bow? Will she skin animals in the movie? Eat their brains? Asirpa is the pivotal character in this series; I hope Yamada-san can pull off the role.
(To make the live-action version of Moribito, actress Ayase Haruka trained in spear-fighting before taking on the role of Balsa. There are stunt doubles, of course, by Ayase did a lot of the fighting herself.) Wonder if we'll get to see this in the US? I've already given up hope for seeing either Kitarou Tanjou or Komada: A Whiskey Family in a US theater, but maybe a live-action film will be more appealing? Especially after the success of Godzilla Minus One. Golden Kamuy must have a pretty decently-sized foreign audience by now. |
