Is this actually "AI" or is an just an algorithm? Too many companies slapped "AI" label to things that are just standard algorithms. Also, who paid for the research? Need to check their bias

These are both good questions. I'd be curious to hear the answers myself.

I'm just going to point out you can make algorithms which "increase diversity" without ai. Obviously.
