I recently tried to submit the foundation date for HarperCollins as 1817-03, but I got an error stating it was in the wrong format. I later tried to set the foundation date as 1917-03, and it went through.

Checking, it looks Nintendo, another company founded from before 1900, one is unable to input the correct foundation date. I tried to put down 1889-09-23, and got the same error. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Nintendo |
