Honestly the comparison video is just kind of depressing. The background shots in the original really emphasize a setting slightly worn and dirty from use, a world lived in by people. On the other hand the CG modern version is just rather sterile, excessively clean, and extremely uniform, a world for show and not lived in. The library shot being a perfect example with the original being a well used library with a mishmash of various well used books in the collection and the CG one coming off as only sets of completely unused encyclopedias.

Glad it's being released in English. I'm curious to see more of the "cinematic camera angle."
Gotta be honest, Shiho and Lemmy's designs feel like step downs in CG.

The only positive I see is an english release.
As for the rest.. NO
This was a product of a very specific point in time for VNs.. and has historical significance as one of the core VNs of this era. I don't care if its dated, or if its not shiny enough for the modern audience.
Leave it alone.

Glad to see its being released in English for the first time, but it's a shame this translation isn't coming to the Nintendo Switch port.
