I imagine this announcement isn't going to turn the heads of anyone that isn't already playing the game, but seriously, if you're a fighting game fan, Rising is a very refreshing burst of air. Especially with everyone complaining about Tekken 8 updates, I feel like I actually have fun every time I sit down to play this - particularly because I'm not fighting against some insane Habbo Hotel lobby or forced into some situation where an Armored King or a Happy Chaos drops in and I suddenly have to "get serious".
The ability cooldowns usually are the big turnoff to most FGC folks coming in blind, but I myself have no clue who any of these characters are, and I'm still really enjoying the novelty of the system (if you input the actual combo motion, the cooldown isn't really noticeable). It's worth spending some time with, and is not as limiting as it initially seems.
The free/demo version is actually VERY full-featured, PLEASE give it a try if you have not, even if you have never played a Fighter, even if you have no idea what a Granblue is.

Speaking of trailer - dang, I never expected Galleon given the grappler role of all things, that's kinda subverted the whole expectations knowledge about the character in-universe.

Mind you, I'm not saying "OMG the roster is perfect! There's no issues here ever!" y'know? I'd just like to signal-boost the fact that the free/demo version of the game even rotates DLC characters in for you to try. If you're not feeling a particular character in a given week, check back again next week and they may have something that vibes better.
Their netcode has been really solid for Rising, and if you have even just 1 friend that is FGC-curious, the free/demo version literally runs on a toaster.
