It's a little bit of a weird announcement, since SkySet's original BD-R release only came out ~2.5 months ago in June, but an improved & more readily available release is nice. I imagine AnimEigo will likely offer an upgrade program for those who have already purchased SkySet's release, like they've done in the past for the old Kickstarter releases that later got improved general releases.

I hope so Lord Geo, this looks like a game-changer for anyone that hold out not buying the previous BD release.

I'm one of those that picked up the BD-R release and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of what SkySet put out for Prime Rose. I'm glad they were able to get a fully pressed disc negotiated and I'll be happy to doubledip for the release. It's like pulling teeth to get Tezuka anime released physically in English and I'm happy to support that kind of release. Looking forward to the AnimEigo Black Jack release, too!
